It seem the knot of the string is an upside down technique? for your alpha in this tutorial? Each knot seem straight instead of an angle you get with basic forward and backward knot, do you know tutorials I could have a look to teach me this technique? I do love the straight line, and I dont like the effect of the basic forward and backward knot at an angle. 😤
This is so helpfull!! I just took hours drawing an alpha pattern for the motorcycle brand my has to make a patch for him, but I was not looking forward to all the useless white I'de have to knot. Now I know how to make just the shape of the logo instead of a square🙂
@TS-4Ever it depends on the material of the thread. Usually, you shouldn’t run into any issues if you place a cloth over your patch before ironing it flat. Also, make sure to iron it before securing the base strings with glue or nail polish so it doesn’t melt. 💗💗💗
Thank you for this. I am going to try something like this. I want to try using an iron on backing but will have to look into that. I am afraid to sew the patch on. This is very helpful. ❤️
