@sophcharrr a different technique is used for alpha patterns. i recommend the "TRIANGLE ENDS ON ALPHAS" video by masha knots! (you can't post links in comments, so you'll have to search it up yourself)
@Emzz i'd recommend segment knotting it if you know how, but instead of reading the pattern row by row you would read it arrow by arrow (v by v) and start off from the v you chose where to set up your strings. sorry if my explanation isn't that clear, i'd recommend to watch the linked videos for a more detailed explanation 🙂
Once you’re done the loop, since you basically cut the pattern at the triangle from where do you start the pattern ? Because I tried it yesterday, the loop ; perfect but then I was so confused so I like started my pattern at like row 14 right after the “triangle” and clearly it didnt work, my bracelet has full holes in it doesn’t seem right. I love those loops I really want to do more of them but i also want the bracelet to look clean. Thank you
@beebears16 if you have just finished the loop, read the pattern as a chevron/arrow shape rather than row if you don't know segment knotting. if the strings aren't in the right order, you may have made a mistake and it's a simple fix 🙂 if you have just finished the pattern, i recommend finishing with a triangle end that has a tutorial on here as well! sorry if my explanation isnt clear enough, but if you need more clarification you can watch the two videos below !!
Thanks for this tutorial its easier for me to understand written out directions than verbal ones and I plan on using this technique as soon as I finish my current bracelet.
I was able to follow this tutorial along and make a teardrop loop for what is only my 3rd bracelet, it is so beginner friendly and the photos really help! as I went back and checked my work I realized I forgot a step but it all turned out fine so I'm not going to sweat about it!
