OMG! Was able to make this pattern as my first ever alpha today and the photo is in moderation!! Thank you so much for your help and i will definitely check out your other patterns 👍 👍 ❤️
@neeth34 yeah, just do t add extra knots. Tie 2 or 3 three rows of background color, then start on knitting the mushroom. You don’t need to tie extra knots, just use the pattern normally. Good luck!!!
@neeth34 so glad I can help! To secure it, just tie it in along with all the other strings. As you tie knots across your base strings, they will be secured in. I would love to see your finished creation! ❤️❤️❤️Good luck!
@neeth34 Not quite. It’s actually an odd number of strings, so what you can try doing is cutting 6 base strings folded in half, then add one and tie at the top. This way, you will have six loops at the top with one single string. It will make it look different, but I suggest this. For this pattern, you need to have 13 base strings. The 14th string is the string you add in to start with, which in this pattern is a blue string.
@rollergirl Tysm!! So if i understood right, I will need 6 basestrings (12 when folded)and one background string ? So if all this is 13 strings what isthe14strings count?
@neeth34 so you need to count the amount of pixels to find the base strings. For example, this pattern has 13 base strings. The count at the top includes the main string you’ll start out with, so to find the base strings, you can also just take off one of the full count at the top. Make sure to use the right amount though, because it can get messed up with one too many, or one not enough. Hope this helps!❤️
@rollergirl it’s actually the fist alpha pattern I ever made so it’s not perfect, but I absolutely love your design! ill definitely be making more of your patterns in the future
