Thank you all for such kind words. I am not from Palestine, but inshaAllah things will get better there. When I posted this pattern, I was unsure of the response, but I’m so happy to see people supporting Palestine (Muslims and non-Muslims). This pattern was only one rating off from 100%, which really shows the increase in those who are pro-Palestine.
@oceanknot i did my own research as well as read ur comment and everything makes so much more sense now. im definitely pro Palestine. but thx for the info
@riley_fxX well tbh, it’s kind of hard to explain in one comment, but basically for a few decades now, there has been a “conflict” in Palestine/Israel. I’m pro-Palestine and I’m trying to make this comment as unbiased as possible, but I would suggest you do more research on your own (just please make sure that your news sources aren’t biased as most are). If there’s reporters from both sides, then it shouldn’t be too biased. I’ll let you form your own opinion, but just so you can understand why I’m making such a big deal about it, especially now, is because Israel is currently attacking Gaza (a city in Palestine). So anyways, to give a brief summary, Palestinians have been living in their country for hundreds and hundreds of years, until Israel decides that they want to start forcing Palestinians to leave their homes. They have destroyed many homes and killed thousands of innocent Palestinians. So there have been lots of issues, but to start with one, in the month of Ramadan, Palestinians were praying their night prayer at a mosque. Israeli forces attack them while they are threatening no one during the prayer, so obviously people are going to want to defend their rights. I’m not going to deny that there’s violence on both sides, but I mean it’s not even Israel’s land and for them to say that they’re not killing innocent people just isn’t true. Also, Israel has wayyyyy more money and resources than Palestine so it’s not even a fair “fight.”It’s basically like if someone came to your house and told you that you have 5 minutes to leave or else you will be killed and then everyone started getting mad that you’re defending yourself and saying that the oppressor is helping you because they warned you in advance. Like it’s not about being warned or not, people are forgetting the fact that your house (which belongs to you) is getting destroyed. Sorry I feel like this comment was kind of unorganized, but I just remember now that Jubilee has a middle ground video (I don’t know if you know what that is) where Israelis and Palestinians discuss the conflict. It was filmed a while ago, so it’s not relevant to what’s happening now, but you can still watch that if you want. Anyways, I appreciate you asking about it and hopefully this answered your question. By the way, I’m not against Jews and/or every single person living in Israel. You can’t control what your government does and there are in fact, Jews that are pro-Palestine (also not all Jews are from Israel). This isn’t a matter of Judaism against Islam, it’s a matter of human rights being violated
@meadowcow No comment But go now and see the real events that are happening in Palestine now, so that you know who is not imprisoned or not killed and bombed
