@Bryn14 it basically works the same as the triangle end you did for patterns #37811. You could also check out the shaped keychain tutorial in the tutorial section or watch Alex's Innovations' video on the evil eye bracelet where she explains how to do shaped alphas.

Basically what you do is when you get to the edge you make a knot around all the left over strings at once. This way the unused strings get hidden in the edge.
