@TPigtails_ I think this pattern looks best when you do only square knots between the flowers, don't follow the pattern exactly.
Skip all the green knots as shown and instead just use the outer green strings to make square knots around all the other strings. There's also some extra knots you can add with the yellow color to make the flower look a bit fuller... just watch the super helpful video tutorial by @Crafty_K right here above the comments 😊
@Soupfae Awesome! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Actually, @ponotama and @halokiwi already have a lot of really nice "chain" patterns, and some have tutorials too! 😊
I LOVE how these turned out. I definitely had to check out your insta for the instructions but once I got it, it stuck. I would love if you posted more of these!! Like different types of chains? I'm obsessed. ❤️
@Rosebud09 sorry, the pattern doesn't exactly match the knotting technique needed to make the sunflowers. Sometimes the strings are alternately paired and both are knotted over together. You can watch the attached video tutorial, or visit my instagram sodapop.creations for a picture tutorial in my highlights 😊 But to answer your question, all 4 brown and yellow strings are bundled together in the center, and the outside green strings are used to make square knots around the bundle to create the chain.
