@Wolfcub if you have made alphas before, just count the number of rows in an inch to find out how long it would be for you. Lately I've been knotting loosely and making 13 rows per inch, so this pattern with two horseshoes ( from lines 13-65) is 52 rows, and would be (52 ÷ 13 = 4) only four inches for me, and I like mine a bit longer. But you can add extra blank rows on each end, or add extra space between the horse and horseshoe, to reach your desired length. 😊
I have another suggestion if that’s okay. 😀 Is there anyway you could make a shark with maybe fish or water ripples/waves as the items around it. Take your time and if it doesn’t work out then don’t stress 🙃
