@Yellowfang make the base with 7 petals then do extra rows of petals (I do three extra rows) then when you are ready to finish it for you first three colors do a regular chevron, with you fourth color do three knots on each side but don't join it together, fifth color two knots, sixth color one knot. Then you just use your outline string to knot onto all of the other strings, do this on all the petals, cut the string so there are fringes (or however you want to make the ending) and you have a bowl PS the bowl will curve naturally with the more rows of petals you add. Also make the strings 3 feet long

@crafter83 thanks, it wasn't supposed to be that big, just a regular flower, but i cut the string way too long i felt bad not using it. Definitely will remake it again!
@XxRileyxX It is called the Mandala Flower. @2006_Mandy has a photo tutorial as well as linking a video at the end. @xXLeahXx and @BubblyCraf both have actual video tutorial which if you scroll up, you can see.
I made the base out of 7 petals (watch BubblyCraf's video on that). Then you do another row of petals by doing a chevron. continue doing the chevron for three rows of the chevron petals. After those rows are done you do a chevron with the first three colors in you petals then three knots of your fourth color, two knots of the fifth color, and one knot of the sixth color. then you knot each string with the color used for the border (in my picture it's the teal). I think I might make a video on how to make a bowl. I hope this helps @LauraLaura!!
