@vance it would be soooo nice a tutorial for this “technic” how many colours did u use? Maybe that can help me, in order to know when i should swapot! Hahahaha OMG i am afraid i will never get it! 😭 👍 👍 👍 Thanks anyway!!
@okthais yes, all the loose strings can be cut, i think i ended up cutting 60 strings off the back haha. i wish i was better at describing this process.., i should learn how to make videos lol
OMGGGG!!, @vance i am really really in love with your design, i am still learning to knot well. I have read your explanations, but as my English is not good enough, i cannot figure at all how to swap the strings. Do you leave the strings that are not used loose?? And then you cut them? I think your bracelet is my favourite ever! 😍 Soooooo preeettty i wish i can find the way! 😍 😍 😍 😍
@CAgymnast no i dont know of one, but its pretty simple. you can see in this pattern, when yellow is done at row 10, its buried for a while, so for two rows, you can put another color with it, and it would be hidden. i usually do it for the two rows right before yellow would emerge again. so this pattern would be at row 26 and 27, the knots going over yellow would instead be going over yellow and the new color (lets say green), then when that yellow knot comes up, i use green instead, and all future yellow knots become green. the yellow strings can be cut off cause theyre secured. then the next stop is 36 and 37 to replace orange. hope that was clear 😄
@CAgymnast thanks! after all this time, i finally discovered how to switch colors out while they're buried. i never knew i needed this skill until now 😛
