Like some other comments I agree you really have to pay attention to your color choices to get the desired look and effect. I found that looking at just the side of the graphic of the finished product helped. Then laying out your colors in that order paying attention to tone (light/dark). But as usual I love @sodapop designs! Seriously they are always fun and her color choices are fantastic. They have an very good eye for color.
ahhh i have really mixed feelings about this pattern. I think its mostly just because i prefer thicker patterns which is my bad. Also i picked a blue that was far too dark and a purple that was too light so the rainbow pattern didnt quite show up as intended. definitely my bad there lol.
to all future creators of this pattern: colour choice is key!
@MsMShinoda The best way to make your loops and endings look good is to watch tons of YouTube videos and practice practice practice! There are many beginner tutorials to choose from. I recommend starting with Masha Knots or Alex’s Innovations 😊
Alrighty, I have officially got my strings/colors cut for this one... Question: does anyone know of any other way to "start" odd-numbered/single-string bracelets besides a braid or the double twisted ropey thingy?? I usually TRY doing something like a loop with 1 of the strings tying around/over the rest of them- but it always looks kinda, well, icky?
😍 I fell in love with this pattern on Instagram but the post didn't have the pattern number and I finally found it and printed it out and saved it to every notes section and safe I own.
