@Caramel04 hey! I love your portal patterns I was wondering if I could use them in my etsy and craft shows this year? I'll give full credit whenever possible if you'd like 😍
I rarely leave comments on this site, but this pattern deserves one. Thank you for making this! I love how you managed to capture her traits so accurately in a minimalistic design, definitely making this one in the future ❤️
Aah, I'm so happy you like it! I just look at it every now and then in disbelief. Your pattern is great! I took the courtesy of adding one more red pixel, and another top row. but I think it's true to the design. I wish I had used a different background colour though, because the light blue is too similar to the gray I think. Oh well.
Yeah, I was thinking about triangle or D-shaped loops- won't get them from Amazon probably though. Thanks for the tip and the amazing patterns! ❤️
@CawTheCrow Your keychain is gOrgeous! ❤️ I want to make it myself now actually and I'm honored that you've made one of my patterns!
Also you mentioned that you didnt have enough space on your keychain so if you want a solution for that I suggest going to Amazon and buying some 1-inch d-ring keychain loops. They've got a flat edge and can probably hold about 30 strings so they're perfect for keychains!
@CawTheCrow My knots tend to stretch alphas a bit vertically too, but I've heard that making sure the first half of the knot is pushed all the way up to the previous row helps with that problem. Also I have a feeling I will agree that keychain loops should be bigger once I attempt this pattern 😄
I'm 2/3 in, and so far I've learned that 1. keychain loops should be bigger than I thought, or I should find another way to attach it, and 2. my knots aren't perfectly square, rather tall rectangles, and patterns are going to be stretched out vertically a bit 😄
Oh man, I'm going to make a keychain, and I don't know whether to make the background light blue, colour-changing blue, or colour-changing grey... Maybe the changing blue won't have time to change, so it's between light blue and grey... But I don't want the grey to be too similar to the shadow one.. Aaargh!
