@PalomaJune that's an alpha pattern. To add a border, you just make knots of a different colour at the edges. I don't think adding a border has an effect on the straightness of alpha patterns. It might have an effect in normals due to their structure, but I don't really think that it has an effect in alphas.
Has anyone done a border on this pattern? It looks like multiple people have from the photos lol. I feel like it would be fairly easy on this pattern and it would make the edges straighter, but I've never made a border before, and if someone could tell me how that would be great.
