@nishu92 i didn’t use them in the color change! i only chose the red in my base strings because of the uneven amount of base strings. there are a lot of tutorials on youtube, tiktok and even on this app for color changes! but basically you just tape your new color to the side, put it underneath the base strings and knot it like normal.
