This was my first alpha and I live the pattern. My bracelet did not come out as I had hoped. But that is most likely becaus do haven’t done and alpha pattern before. Could someone post some tips I tried watching tutorials but they can get confusing and off topic a lot.
@Kaylee_n Go to Masha Knots youtube channel, she has a tutorial 😉 👍 She's got lots of tutorials, like how to start your bracelets and how to end them as well! She's got a tutorial for everything you need to know about making friendship bracelets!
@KaitlynR yes, I think this would be a good first alpha pattern because it is only four colours and doesn't have a lot of base strings. (Comments are visible before they get accepted btw.)
Hello! I hope this will be accepted soon bc I am looking for a alpha pattern for my first. I have been doing normal braclets for a couple of summers now but I want to expand my knowledge! So do you guys think this is a good one to start with?
@oliviabeas , i basically started it as you would for a bookmark, there's tutorials for that on youtube if you dont know how, and then i crossed the 2 lose strings at the edge (the ones you knot onto) to make a loop shape and then did forward backward knots over those strings, the same way you would for a regular knotted loop. Hope that makes any sense at all.
