@danielanyg you make a larks head knot to attach the base strings to the dowel, What I do for an even amount of base strings for a wall hanging would be to not cut the skein for the leading string and using the other side of the two ends as the rope to hang it on.... that wasn’t rly a good explanation, but hope it makes sense! But yeah, disregarding the more complicated explanation, make larks head knots to attach the base strings
