@Elise64 Thank you ❤️ I used DMC cotton pearl size 5 for the base strings because it doesn't fray super easily and this was a lot of knotting haha. It might be slightly thinner than regular DMC embroidery floss, but I have been seeing people use it in wall hangings which is why I gave it a try! The dimensions of the knotted part of my wall hanging are 4.5 inches wide x 8.5 inches long (not including the white strings hanging down at the bottom - those are 4.25 inches long). I think it is larger than most other wall hangings I've seen, but I don't have a ton of wall hanging experience lol. The wooden dowel I made it on is 12 inches across, which is pretty long, so it may make it look smaller than it really is 😜 Hope this helps!!
@RachieRoo OMG THAT IS LITERALLY THE CUTEST THING I'VE EVER SEEN!!!!!!!! Are your base strings thin? I was just wondering because i'm not sure how big patterns with this many base strings turn out bcz ive seen photos that make the wall hanging look bigger. NO HATE ON YOUR WALL HANGING ITS SO CUTE AND NEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😭 😭 😭
