I’m guessing there is a mistake in the pattern above as for the chains on the right side there is a sudden row of forward knots in between the backward knots …
@Failure I know this response is 4 months late, but in case you still want to make the pattern, @pattncraft says how long to make the strings at the 0:41 mark of the video that’s attached to this pattern.
This is the pattern for my macrame diamonds bracelet, but you need to add the square knot in the center of the diamond (there’s no way to make that in the pattern generator, but I made a tutorial video for it).
