@Mackysimms when you are looking at an alpha pattern, braceletbook adds a base string to the number on top. So always cut 1 base string less than what it says. The extra base string is your leading string, aka your first/background color. In this pattern, cut only 14 base strings. If you want an easy way to know the dimensions, it says it beside the number of base strings at the top. 14x71, meaning 14 base strings and 71 rows. If you have any questions i suggest looking at Masha Knots' video on how to make alphas and how to read alpha patterns. Hope this helps!
By 15 strings? Does this mean 15 base strings or… because I’ve just tried this pattern and cut 15 base strings. But it’s incorrect because I have an extra knot on the side. 😑
@blossom17 how do you get your alphas so clean 😭 ? Mine is so chunky and its not the best. Im using thestraight alpha tech. but its not really working out
I submitted a picture of my keychain. They still have to accept it. It was my first alpha thing I have made. It looks a little messy. If you guys have any tips for me that would be very appreciated!
@kendallc5 Okay, awesome! When the photo gets accepted, could please notify us on the Challenge post? It is just easier to keep track of everyone there.
