@Vsco_4Life Oh ok! I just wasn't sure because it didn't look like anyone was hating on it and was kinda confused. The pattern is lovely and the ride is a big part of my childhood and people definitely should not be rating it one star for no reason. ❤️ 😐
@addyson I know, I don’t mind u guys chatting at all. Some people have just been rating my pattern 1 star with no explanation so I chatted them and they’ve haven’t responded to me which makes me think they are one of the people that just go around rating patterns badly for no reason. Literally as I am typing this I have gotten to one star ratings and I just want an explanation, so I can fix things in the future.
Hi, this pattern was just made in remembrance and not in envy or racism so if u decide to give it a low rating pls tell me why because It took an hour to design and more to fix changes : )
@gwensknots Yeah, unfortunately Splash Mountain was themed after Song of the South which is an old movie with rather racist themes, that’s why Disney is changing it to a Princess and the Frog theme instead
Omgggg I loved splash mountain! When I was a kid and we went to Disney world I’d always wanna go on it it was soooo fun and the zip-a-dee-do-dah song made it even better! It was a good ride to cool down from being splashed from the drop on a hot day I’m going to miss it so much! 😔
@nerdyesme I know I think the rude will be great I just 1. Will miss Splash cuz the animatronics in Disneyland are all from an old and iconic extinct ride American sings and 2. Think a tiana ride should go I’m New Orleans square lol
Don’t worry, the actual ride will stay the same, the theme with just be princess and the frog, instead of song of the south, which is a very racist and outdated movie. I think it’s great that tiana will finally get the spotlight she deserves! you can still go on the ride to cool off! 😁
Good thing it’s the same ride just a different theme! It may not seem like much, but acknowledging a ride’s racist past and fixing it is definitely a step in the right direction
I absolutely love this ride and was devastated to hear they were shutting it down for a very stupid reason. I will definitely miss the zip-a-dee-do-dah song that we all love and definitely don't know how they will compare it to I e of the most iconic Disney rides. Rip 😭 😭 😭
@keyleer_04 yes i agree i am going to miss it): i don’t want to cause an argument but the movie the ride was based around is very racist but i’m still going to miss it a ton
@Disney12 & @scarhead12 i think they should keep it as splash mountain like i mean someone made the point of people going on the ride to cool down not for the storyline i think people were just finding anything they could complain about but thats just me
