@teen_titan thanks! I’m pretty sure I used DMC colors 746 (or maybe 3823), 742, 434, and 938, but I could be wrong. for the base strings I used crochet thread size 3, not sure what brand
@swann_lake I don’t mind at all! it’s simply that I honestly don’t know the exact answers for either of those lol. I could never just sit and work on it, so it took a while, and the whole process took about a month. I don’t have the actual measurements because I gave it as a gift but I’d say it was roughly 6x6 inches, give or take a bit. also, the one I made is smaller (shorter) than this original pattern. the only difference is about halfway through appa and down I squished the image, since my final products tend to be taller than the original, and I didn’t want it to look vertically stretched lol. just wanted to point that out (: and thank you!!
@MJ__knots not much, other than having patience, and make sure you have enough string!! I kept running out because I underestimated how much it would use. also I used size 3 crochet thread for base strings, as it is ever so slightly thicker and sturdier, and I didn’t have to use so much of a colored thread. and I recommend using the straight edges technique if you don’t already. there’s a few tutorials here as well as youtube videos on it. other than that, just take your time! it’s better to make it neat and have fun doing it than finishing it and realizing you made a mistake. hope this helps, good luck!! post a picture when you’re done if you can!!
