okay so i haven’t been here for a while... wow. all i’m gonna say is... THANK YOU!! i did this pattern as someone who didn’t even know how to knit or crochet but wanted to copy harry styles in any way. it took me like five minutes to do it and the next day it got approved.

i haven’t made any bracelets lately (a few louis and harry inspired chevrons) but i can proudly tell you all i finally know how to crochet.

so, now this has almost 90 hearts and 40 ratings with 28 (my sacred number) photos, so again, thank you all SO MUCH for the support in this pattern, i love to see how it ends up!!!

love, v . . .

Would this be a good bracelet for someone who's never made an alpha before? 🤔

@sophies123 I really recommend Masha knots videos about alphas because that's where I learned. she goes over everything you need and is beginner friendly. she can definitely help with your first alpha!

@emilyemily When you switch the colors you should do one knot of the color you are switching to then put the previous string over the knot you just made and then do the second part of the knot with the color you are switching to. I believe this is called the flat alpha technique. Masha knots on youtube has a really helpful tutorial if my explanation was not clear

I just started this bracelet and I'm super excited to finish it! I can't afford the yarn for the cardigan so I kinda have to improvise. I saw it on tiktok and Im so happy hahaha

@hardma2002 you have to trap the string you used before with the next string you use, it looks like stitches on the back basically
