@izz_swa you can use long scraps as your base for an alpha! you won't be able to see them in the front AND you can get rid of colours you don't like ๐
@izz_swa I havent made this pattern but yes, I do think that the base strings would be more than one skein. I have made alphas smaller than this and they have used more than a full skein. Hope that helps! ๐

At least you can still watch it full screen there, but I haven't seen it anywhere else yet. ๐. I had to save it because it might get hard to find if she keeps adding more photos.
Is there a tutorial i am missing showing how to make alphas into bookmarks with a hole in it for a strand and tassel or a rising style that i am missing. Lol hope that makes sense
@erincostaa itโs just like making a normal tassel. I wrapped string around four fingers and tied the twisted tie to one side and cut the other and then tied another string around it to hold it all in place
@GoatIsLove itโs not letting me send a direct link here so Iโll mssge you privately but Itโs in Russian and itโs pretty straightforward. I couldnโt understand the actual circle- itโs like making a shaped bracelet and you just do backward-forwards knots on the right side and forward-backward knots on the right (using the base strings)
