I agree that all people black or white should be treated equally, but this is getting way out of hand, BTW my grandfather who is white was shot by a black police officer for no exact reason, This is also very common, but as soon as a white officer kneels on a black guys neck, police are no longer given respect and white people are given a bad rep. 😤 😤 😤 😤 😤 😤 Black lives do matter, that is true but so do white lives, and the sooner people learn that the better. So in stead of rioting and protesting, which does nothing both races should just be kind to each other, I mean seriously it's not that hard!!!
@gwensknots I just watched the body cam footage. While the way he died wasn't right, there was still more to the story. George Floyd was taking illegal drugs and was resisting arrest. He was also saying he couldn't breathe almost all along. He isn't as much of a hero everyone makes him.
@livematter he was tripped and fell and the cop held him down and yes there was, but the guy who held him down must have called for back up because he was black and the cop though he would try to attack him
@lidiaaa You are ASSUMING it was about race but you're totally ignoring the fact that these two knew each other and had beef for years prior to this! So knowing that, how do you automatically assume it was a racial thing? Their beef wasn't about race, it was that George didn't agree with how he was policing because he was rough with people in the club. Just the fact that George Floyd was black and the officer was white does not mean it was about racism. I'm not saying that officer isn't racist, I'm just saying there's no proof of that so it doesn't make sense to automatically assume
@Jewlery2 It's not about stomping and screaming. YOU made that part up because no one is claiming that cops have a right to shoot someone for stomping and screaming. That's not what I said at all. The incident I am talking about where Rayshard Brooks stole a cop's taser and shot it at him, and it had nothing to do with him being afraid(he just didn't want to be arrested). And how can the officer de-escalate the situation when a suspect steals their taser and as they're chasing after him, he shoots it at the officer??? The police have to be able to defend themselves and it has nothing to do with race! I'm white and if I did that, I'd get shot too! The point is, the narrative the media pushes is just simply not true. I do my own research, I don't need lying reporters telling me what to believe. Especially after I have caught them in lie after lie after lie.
Also, there were cops of color who were arresting him. I am just wondering but what if the store owner told the cops a lie because I don't understand why there were 4 cops. 🤔
@N_Silvers No one is here stealing Police tasers, and if they are it is because they legitimately fear for their life. And also, Police should be able to de-escalate the situation so that there is no need to shoot. Why do Police have the right to shoot people? Even if you stomp and yell and scream and steal their tasers, the Police will always be more protected than you and should never fear for their life, and should never have to resort to violence.
