@Dr_Grey123 no problem! Don't be sorry for your questions! I'm glad I can help! 😊 I learned mostly over Masha knots tutorials about flat alphas. I sometimes still have trouble with color changes because I've only been making bracelets for maybe 3 weeks but when I do it slowly and make sure it comes out even, then it looks alright. And I used the straight edges technique on this alpha bracelet too. I'd love to see how your ocean bracelet turns out when it's done!! ❤️
@newtothis that definitely helps thank you soooo much! One more question sorry how do you learn to make alphas? Thank you so much sorry for the questions
@Dr_Grey123 oh, you just pick it out of the pattern one letter at a time. I used 10 base strings and for the letter 'o' and 'n' I removed the last row of knots underneath the letters. (bc the e,a and c all are 8 knots tall and the o and n were 9 knots tall. so I made that little adjustment to make all of the letters 8 knots tall) and the I just did one letter at a time. I did around 15 rows of blank lilac background and then started making the first letter, the o according to the pattern. And I left one row of just background color knots between the letters. Hope this helps 😊
@BraceletOG Like lidiyaa said Masha Knots' videos were very helpful when i first started making alphas. As for making the bracelet basically i found the longest letter in the name Eliana, which was L, and I got that many strings for the base, and for spacing i just did one row of the background color in between each letter. I hope this helped and wasn't confusing! Good luck!
