Heyy! I tried this pattern as my first alpha. It's coming out a little wonky. Can anyone please give me some tips? I watched Marsha knotts video " Flat Alpha Tutorial". I dont know what I'm doing wrong 😭
@baabailey it’s not a mistake, it’s the base strings (8) and the leading string, which makes it 9. whenever you see an alpha with like 21 strings and you count 20, just think that it’s the base string + 1. hope that helped!
At the top it says that there is 9 strings but there is actually only 8. Not a big deal just wanted to let you know in case it was an accident : ) love the pattern btw!
