For anyone who made this, how did you continue the W shape knotting at the end. I made a loop w two triangle ends, and at the end, how do i continue knotting when ive reached the last W? Idk how to explain it too well, but the best way i suppose, is how i continue to segment knot after i reach the end? Like the last segment chunk? If this makes any sense pls help 🙂 (i know to restart from the beginning when i finish.)
@beautyknot no, apart from the same number of strings and the same number of colours and both of them being dovetail patterns, they have some significant differences. In this pattern all the diamonds have the same orientation while in the other pattern they don't. In this pattern you have one colour that forms the background grid (dark purple) while in the other black and white form the background grid together.
@Jdog12525 thanks for letting me know! 😊 I was thinking of making one of those to hold a chapstick but I haven't gotten around to doing it and yours looks so perfect
@emmazzz_d So I duplicated the pattern a few times (I think three) and I started it off right at row 1 without any triangle starts. To create the cylindrical shape for the chapstick to fit, I did not sew the ends together but rather knotted them together as I went.
