FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO LOOP IT: So to loop it, cut 7 very long bg color strings (you will fold all of them in half), and one long string of each of your white colors. Watch the masha knots video on how to make a loop. Then after you know the technique, DO NOT SEPARATE ANY OF THE STRINGS YET. Connect 3 of the bg strings together without separating them (leaving you with twelve strings in all) then separate the last bg color and connect BOTH of the halves together. Then do the same with you stripe colors WITHOUT SEPARATING THEM. Then make whatever loop you want. I hope this helps and I’m sorry for the caps, I just wanted to make the important parts stand out.
@wildcat253 there’s different colors on each side so idk how to do a loop because when you fold a string in half it makes two of the same color but this pattern doesn’t do that
@madhat1 that’s sounds pretty easy just time consuming, this is the pattern for Masha Knots stay at home challenge # 5 everyone else who made it so far has done a loop so it can’t be difficult, doesn’t sound like it so eh, challenge accepted
@maiya_1972 It would be VERY hard. You have to split your string in half and pair it up with another string so it can basicly be two colors as one string, Masha Knots has a tutorial on how to do that but I recommend that you do triangle ends instead because it will be very diffucult.
@alyxcap this one has diff colors so that would tell me I can’t do a loop like I prefer since that starts in the middle. There is a way to do a loop I think; however I don’t know it, so I’d just cut the strings and tape them to my clipboard in order that they appear in the pattern with plenty of room left out at the top to tie in a knot and make a braid.
@alyxcap I’m relatively new to this so someone else probably can give you a better answer, but this is what I do: look at the pattern from left to right
