@MozzaStix for a simple triangle start, each side of colors doesn't have to be mirrored exactly. It helps to print the pattern and draw out the triangle, which makes the order of string colors easier to see. There's a video tutorial on #17264 that shows how. 😊
@UNIQUECORN no, 1212 patterns are made almost entirely of forward-backward and backward-forward knots... so that each string follows a tiny parallel zigzag path all the way down. Some examples are #35343 and #25008. This is a simple pattern with only plain forward and backward knots that don't switch direction, each string follows its natural diagonal path across the whole bracelet. Hope that helps! 😊
@lauryn615 Yes, #27124 and #29912 look similar but have different knot structures. And #2017 and #3875 are actually the same as this one- only they look like zigzags at first, but they have variations to show how string placement can give this same striped/plaid look. 😊 I love your avatar! ❤️
@empalacios Oh right! You can fold the F and C strings in half like normal since they're in the center and equal on both sides, but the others have to be folded so they hook around each other and end up on opposite sides to fit the pattern. So fold a string A in half, then thread a D string through that loop and fold it in half the opposite direction... now you have 2 same color strings on the same side, and the other 2 colors on the other side. It's time consuming to get all the strings looped around each other but it's totally worth it! Then line up all the individual folds (not exactly together so they don't create a big bump) then fold the whole bunch in half and start knotting the loop like normal. 😊
@sodapop right and I do normally do them, but I’m struggling because all 4 colors on each start on the same side and then I just get turned around. If that makes sense lol?
