@emooemuu they can be any colour 🙂 If you want, you can also completely remove them from the pattern and do the pattern without the straight edges technique.
@chelsea115 cut double-length of each color and fold in half, so you have your 2 strings. Then loop color A around color E so they're hooked around each other in the center, now 2 strings of each color are on opposite sides. Do that for all the pairs. Then you can use the "straight edges" string to knot around the loop, or make the loop have 2 colors -half on each side 😊
@09_blehh_2 you just need to find the center and draw your diagonal lines out from there. In this pattern, the 5th knot on line 11 would make a full V so you can use the space between knots right above it to find the string order. 😊
@MintBreez , It looks like if you segment knot it like a candy-stripe (on a slant) it shouldn't be too difficult. I can def update you once I begin this one though!
Beautiful! I wish I had studied it a bit more before choosing the colors to capture the intricacy of the pattern. I like making bracelets that don't require referring to the pattern once you knot a couple of rows.
