Just tied this for the very first time. Took a while to get the hang of it (had to start over one time), but once I did it was very comfortable to tie. I recommend keeping one leading string behind the bracelet and one leading string in front of the bracelet while tying like you can see in the knotting instructions. I used the straight edges technique and I think it makes it look very sleak. I'm not sure how it would look without.

@halokiwi hmmm. I think I will do the keychain one it looks a bit more simple. And do you know like any video I can watch? To like help me swap colors? in alphas? Thanks! sorry for all the questions!

I think #57682 might be nice as a keychain or #26396 as a bracelet @skittlesss

@halokiwi oh ok.. Do you have any that you recommend for first time alphas?

@skittlesss I think it would definitely be doable as a first alpha but I wouldn't recommend it. I'd recommend a pattern where you have to do colour switches a little less often and maybe one that's a little wider just because it will look a little nicer because this one is really small.

Is this like a good one for first times? Everyone says its easy but I've never made an alpha before.

@wavywind yes technically but 3 strings at one time then you switch leading strings

@blackwolf2 they can be any color, they won’t show in the bracelet except for the ties.
