@rileyla the best thing to do is to just take it one row at a time and take a break every few rows for a minute or two. I did one full repetition of the pattern every night for a few days and I got it done quickly and painlessly
I'm trying this one but I've been struggling with the mountains. Ive been doing the knots right, and I don't know why they don't look spiky at all, the small ones next to the big ones seem the same size too. I'm not sure if it's because my thread is too thin...
I'm doing this pattern a second time and I'm using the straight edge technique which is going a lot better. I'll post the 2nd attempt when I'm done with it. I would definitely recommend using the straight edge technique( if you don't know the technique, Masha Knots has a tutorial).
@JCai1998 You can make it any colour you want. The same goes for the string on the very right and also some of the other strings that aren't used to make knots.
Oh but warning, make sure you cut your strings varying lengths I ran into a problem where some were so short I had to stop in the middle, it was really sad 🙁.
@KyleeLN well, when I did it I just folded it in half and made a knot. But I don’t see why you couldn’t just make a one-color loop, and then arrange the string all next to each other on one side when you start the pattern. (I know you asked like 2 weeks ago, but I’m trying to be helpful) 🙂
