I don't wanna be a spoilsport, this is a great pattern, but why is it tagged with "pumpkin" when there is no pumpkins? 😄 I get it's Halloween-themed, but still- it's candy!
Though, now that I think about it, I never tried candy cones, so who knows, maybe they do come in pumpkin flavours? 🤔
Love this! I just started making this pattern yesterday because Halloween is my favourite holiday and it’s coming up pretty soon. I’ll make sure to post a pic when it’s done 🙃
@LilAvocado I've actually brought up this issue in the forums here and am waiting to figure out an answer. I am unable to change or edit the labels at the tops of my patterns and that includes the base string count at the top. I hope that BB notices this issue of adding +1 strings to alpha patterns because it really sucks if you don't know about it. I'm really sorry this happened for you and I do hope your bracelet still turns out really well! Good luck and let me know if you need anymore help! ✨
You need to change the amount of strings because I started with 10 strings but messed up because it only contains 9 strings so please if you have a chance change it for people in the future if they want to make it
@KatelynJoe, Thank you show much, I found Masha Knots the other day, and he is amazing, thank you for answering my question, I look forward to trying this patter!! 😇
@SpOoKyGiRl Since this is an alpha pattern you work row by row back an forth only instead of making knots onto each of your strings like normal patterns, you take the color it shows in the pattern for that knot and make either a F or B knot onto base strings. For this pattern you will need 9 base strings. The forward knots are the arrows pointing from left to right and backward knots are right to left pointing arrows. It alternates every row. If this is confusing or I'm not making sense there is an amazing video on alpha patterns by Masha Knots on Youtube I'd recommend you check out! 😊 Good luck! 😉 👍 You got this!
@msbracelet It's really up to you, but I persoanlly think either black or a dark dark brown would look really nice and make the candy corn pop! If you're not sure though you could always try making a variation to play with the colors and see for yourself. Let me know if you need any more help. Good Luck on the pattern! 😊 I hope you have fun with it! 😄
