@doggoknots You mean the ones for your teardrop-loop? So they don’t have to be too long, actually most pictures that are posted from finished bracelets (the photos over the comment section). Clever_Sid and aknotter11 for an example have really nice teardrop loops. You might wanna take a look at them, maybe the picture can give you an idea of how big it’s going to be. The thing with how long the loop part (the rounded bow on top) is going to be is an experience thing, because everyone’s knots are differently. (So my knot’s can be smaller or bigger than the ones you make, because different hands knot with different tensions). But if that’s not what you meant, don’t hesitate to ask again 😄
I looovveee this bracelet! I just made a wrong decision when it came to colors. still really pretty and I am definetly going to try it with good colors another day.
*that means that you need to separate your strings on the first strand to two smaller bundles: on the left side you need 1 blue string, 1 green string, 1 yellow, 1 orange string and 3 black strings, while you get all the other strings on the right side of that one bundle: 4 black, 1 yellow, 1 green and 1 blue string. For the left side (of the left triangle) you need to make a blue forward knot over all the others (that should only be 6 strings) and then just leave it ‘alone’ to your right for now, than make a forward-knot with green over the remaining 5 strings, leave it to the right, make a yellow forward-knot over the remaining 4, leave it, orange knot over 3 black strings, leave it, black knot over 2, leave it, black knot over the last one - and leave that whole side. Now you pretty much do the same thing for the right side of your left triangle: make a black backwards knot over 6 strings, leave it to the left, black backward knot over 5 strings, leave it to the left, black knot over 4 strings, black knot over 3, yellow knot over 2, green knot over your last (this time a blue) string. And now you can finally start making that one 4th knot in the 3’d row, you wanted to knot the whole time and continue with the knots under it. It might be pretty confusing right at the start, but it’s going to make sense once you’re doing it. - but that’s only the triangle for the left side, for the one on the right side you have to do the exactly same thing, just mirrored from the left triangle. - I hope it might help someone. Otherwise there are a ton of videos on YouTube on how to make triangle ends 😄
