sorry for tagging you guys just needed someone to reply can someone help me im confused on how you would start this pattern as a keychain like how do you get the strings in the order in the picture and why in all the pictures do people then do a knot onto both sides and how do you start it with the missing triangle bit at the top on a keychain one last question how much string would you recommend if I'm doing one of the stars onto a keychain

@knotnormal I have never done the straight edge technique on this bracelet and I don’t think most people do it either. 😊And I cut my strings about 6 feet then fold that in half. This might sound a little confusing, but I cut the “outline” string a little longer than the other strings. For example in the original purple colors of the pattern, the darkest purple that basically outlines the starburst I cut a little longer because it uses more string. I usually cut that one about 6 1/2 feet. 😁
@Hunter_K I made 8 individual starbursts and attached them together before I got to the side part. After this I made two rows of them then made a base using 4 giant chevrons and knotting them together. I made a reel on my Instagram with more detail @RileighCreates
Whoops! @knotnormal I just connected 8 starbursts. Then I made giant chevrons on the bottom and tied them together. I posted a reel of the first part on my Instagram @rileighcreates
@winner3 No problem. I made 8 starburst starts and connected them. After that, I connected the two ends so it was in a circle. After I did the second row of gradient diamonds I made a giant chevron for each wall. I turned it inside out and tied the corresponding strings together. Then I trimmed the extra strings and turned it the right way. I'm going to be posting a few reels on Instagram with some progress pictures. Feel free to message me if you have questions!
