Whoops! @LauraLaura Thank you! I made 8 starburst bracelet starts and connected them. Then I knotted down with another starburst and the diamonds you see. I connected them all in a circle, just knotting them together. I used a piece of paper or cardboard to separate the strings on the front and back. Once I did the 4 sides how long I wanted them, I made a large chevron on each side. When that was finished I turned it inside out and knotted the matching color strings on the sides next to each other. When I finished the base, I snipped the extra strings and turned it the right way. You may add some clear nail polish or something if you’re worried about the bottom strings coming undone, but I haven’t had that issue. Masha Knots has a video on doubling patterns and Akaawol makes similar bags. He uses a different technique on the bottom though.
