I have made this pattern once before. I used wingspan length plus a little bit more (about 5.75 ft.) but for the darkest color, or outline string, make it a little longer, about a foot. I had to add more in which isn't a huge deal, but it was annoying to see my whole bracelet and not be able to knot all the way through!
I started making one but I didn't know how long the strings needed to be so I just did something. Now I have one 'X' but my strings are too short to do another one. Now here comes my question: how long do your strings need to be? ❤️
I finished it and then ran out of strings to close it off so I bought all the strings to the center as a chevron I put a pic of mine above let me know how you like ( click on the picture, u can’t see the whole thing)
@kayknotz I did! i finished it yesterday, ill post a photo later this day. I am so proud of how it turned out, since it was the first time i did a triangle start after a loop and the first time i segment knot. But it was sooooo worth it, it turned out so pretty!!
@myrthe_uwu OMG YES SEGMENT KNOT IT. i am working on it rn with segment knotting and ive done half of the pattern in 6 hrs 🙁 imagine how long row by row will take lol!! it’s a beautiful bracelet thooo <3
@myrthe_uwu if you watch Masha’s tutorial she’ll show you what’s there and how it looks, and I was also talking about a tutorial for the starburst, not for segment knotting. And don’t worry about all the questions! We’re all in the house bored 🙂
@bunnyco sorry for asking so many questions, but do you know if you are segment knotting, what you do with the strings you have to lay off to the side? For example, row 2 at the left.
