@chlsrys ok i think i get it now. i use the straight edges technique to keep the sides straight, and then, after im done with each row, i push it up with my fingernail to keep the lines from curving. its really hard to have perfectly straight lines, but thats the best advice i have atm. : )
Hi @chlsrys for these two bracelets I used the DMC Cotton Perlé thread, and i really only use DMC thread in all of my bracelets. What do you mean by elongating? : )
this pattern took me quite a while to make. it was the first alpha i made in years and i actually switched to the flat alphas technique halfway through since thats when i learned about it. It takes a lot of the background string, but it was a great way to use up some of my variegated string. these bees are so cute and were a lot of fun to make!
@mordandea they mean the way the knot will be so the ones going this way (>) means u will make a backwards knot and the ones facing this way (<) are forward knots
@mordandea this is an alpha pattern, so it’s basically just a different way to make bracelets. there’s some videos on this app that can show you how to make them, they’re very helpful!
i’m so sorry, i’m new to bracelet making and i know what the arrows that are diagonally pointing mean, what do the sideways ones (like these above) mean?
