@phatcat for the backwards forwards row, you go towards the left side of the bracelets and start making the knots from the left side. The first row is a row of forwards backwards knots, starting from the left and going towards the right. Then, when you get to the right, you start from the right and go towards the left. Hi everyone! There is another way to do this pattern that I find to be more fun artistically, but I was having trouble creating. You can leave out the extra string, leaving you with an even number of your choice, and then start the pattern. For the row of backward forwards knots, you can start from the opposite side of the bracelet and go backwards. This creates more of a knitted ombré effect. Happy tying!
