@sardine Each string is an arm span length except 1 string which is for the loop which is 6 inches long than the others, then I fold in half to make the loop. Loops are mostly for bracelets that have an even number of strings like the dovetail for example, that has 24 strings. If it’s an odd number of strings for a bracelet, make braided or twists ends on the top and bottom. (MashaKnots has videos on braided and twist ends) Hope that explains your questions.

I absolutely love how this bracelet turned out! ❤️ It is one of my most favourite patterns now. Plus, it was easy to memorize and I like when I don’t have to look at the pattern while knotting.
