@ughastd i think it just broke for me because the kind of embroidery i was doing only used a couple strands (not the whole string, so it was less sturdy). the knot at the end is a good idea, i'll have to remember that for future bracelets🙂 but i don't think it would work for embroidery. must be metallic thread is not meant to be sewn with😂
@TKEStrong3 it definitely did get tangled😭 it helps me to tie a small knot at the end of the leading thread so that it won’t completely fall apart. also i’ve never embroidered before but i do pull pretty hard when i’m knotting bracelets, and it has never broken
@ughastd oohh you made it with sparkly thread! how did that work? I've tried embroidering with that kind of metallic thread, and it tangles and breaks😐 Does knotting work better?
@_kinseyb I making making this keychain which I am basing the colors off of your photo! I love watching your knot with me! It's so satisfying to see the butterfly come together!
@_juliannaa I tried to make a variation but I realized that it wouldn’t work since she uses the same dark blue color to outline all three of the butterflies. I think it would work best if you took a screenshot of the one kinsey made and follow the pattern using those colors instead of the ones on your screen.
