the straight edges technique is when you are making the bracelet you make backward forward instead of backward knots on the right most base string and forward backward knots instead of forward knots on the left most string. it just makes the edges of your bracelet not have the funny little bumps on the sides like on @kalipotato 's photo. (sorry for the ping. it would make the edges look a lot straighter like on @meredithgl 's photo ( again sorry for the ping) i think Masha Knots has a tutorial on it. just go to YouTube and search up 'Straight Edges Technique For Alphas' i hope this helps. feel free to message me if you need any further help. 😊@mads01
this was the first alpha that I made and it was ugly (it was my fault because it was my first alpha) 🤮 and then I made this as my first alpha that I did with the straight edges technique 🤪 and now I want to make it again because it was so much fun the first two times 😍 😍 😍 I LOVE THIS PATTERN A LOT ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ BLESS THE PERSON WHO MADE THIS PATTERN 😘 😘
@emiily1020 it’s kinda just how bracelets turn out, if you look at some perfectly square patterns with photos you can see that they stretched out. If it’s really stretching out maybe tie your knots tighter
Does this happen to anyone else where the planets are coming out more like ovals rather than circles?? And if so, do you have any tips on how to prevent that from happening??
