Note to anyone considering making this pattern:
For a slightly different overall appearance, you can switch/reverse the colors of the strings labeled "B" and "C" in the original pattern diagram. Assuming the relative positions of your darker vs. lighter colors are roughly consistent with those in the original pattern diagram, one of the more noticeable effects of switching the B and C string colors will be that the dot in the center of your diamonds will have a more distinct appearance due to its lighter color creating greater contrast with its dark outline.
You can see examples of this in the two variations I've posted directly above the original pattern. 😊
