@firefox979 I'll try to add a picture. Now that I look at the strawberry again I think I did way more than 3 increases every other round. Maybe it was increase after every 3 knots for the first few rounds and there are 9 rounds before decreases start.
I also attempted a quick frog hat Add 3 latks head knots to folded in half string (longer on one side) Round 2. knot 7 Round 3. knot 7 Round 4. [knot 1, add 1 larks head knot] repeat 6X , knot 1 I stopped here but I should have added another round because it's already falling apart.
Anyway these are just examples and you can make any kind of animal you can think of
@goldflower That's so cool! So many new things to try. Do you have photos of any of those? I'd love to be able to visualise it better. But I'll certainly give them a try anyway.
@firefox979 You can make other animals by changing the colors and adding/ removing strings in different places to change the shape These are a few that I've made
Bunny no legs, for the ears add 4 strings (one longer to knot with)folded in half and placing them between the knots on the top of the head. Once you're done with the body knot across 3 of the strings with the longer 4th string like how you would make an alpha , add about 6-7 more larks head knots in the 2 rows behind the head for a bigger body, embroider tail
Spider add 4 extra legs, add extra eyes (for each extra eye skip one knot for that round), leave one string uncut at the end so it can hang upside down
Strawberry Increase by 3 larks head knots every other round, use a separate string to randomly knot seeds in, macrame leaves for top
