@phoebe-07 it looks a lot more confusing than it is! Start by doing a diagonal shaped end (so when you have all your strings bundles after making the loop, knot the red over the bundle, then orange over the remaining bundle, yellow over that remaining and so on), then just only take your first red string across, and do another diagonal shaped end below the red line and repeat!
