I may just not be able to find a video on this, but how do you make row 3 because I don’t understand how i’m supposed to add those knots with the rest of the string. (Sorry I can’t explain this very well.)
This is a pattern for a shaped dragonfly keychain: - make a blue loop with about 16 bf or fb knots to be able to attach the keychain - follow the pattern like any other shaped pattern until row 8, replace rows with just one knot (rows 2 and 6) by macrame square knots (check out tutorial "advanced knots tutorial" by @Samanada to learn how to make square knots) - make the green knots of row 9 and 10 as indicated in pattern (no shaped bracelet technique and no square knots) - for the first pair of wings make 16 blue bf knots with the two blue strings on the left side and 16 blue fb knots with the two blue strings on the right side (only 4 knots are shown in the pattern) - make the green knots of row 16 to 20 as indicated in pattern (no shaped bracelet technique and no square knots), make the knots as close to the previous green knots as possible so that there is no gap - make the second pair of wings the same way as you did the first pair of wings - from row 26 on use the regular shaped bracelet technique again, make the knots as close to the previous green knots as possible so that there is no gap, rows with just one knot (rows 30 to 38) are replaced with macrame square knots
