Aw thank you guys! All the real credit goes to @halokiwi though. It was their pattern design and guidance that enabled me to make it! Agreed though, it is EXTREMELY ADORABLE! 🙂
@halokiwi first things first what a lovely pattern design and I love that it’s shaped! Still trying to wrap my head around how to do the feet as loops as you said you intended this to be. I tried to find the post you referenced from carinio art knots but I swear I couldn’t find it. Do you happen to know the pattern number for it and/or if it is posted on bracelet book so I could take a look at it? I have some ideas for how to do this section, but I’d really love to see an example from how someone else accomplished something similar!
@shannonrae I just added a variation with a white background for you 🙂 This is such a cute idea that you want to make your children keychains or bookmarks 😍
@halokiwi I’d love to knot this pattern but I’m new to knotting alphas, is there a way you could upload this same alpha pattern but with a white background? I’ve been studying this pattern to try to figure out how to knot this, but I feel it’s past my expertise at this moment with where I’m at in learning alphas. I think this would make a great keychain or bookmark to put in my younger kids stockings for Christmas, paired with their own copies of this book. 🫶🏼♥️
@Wishknots I still have not tried knotting but I think the base strings can be any colour, because for the loops you would also use leading strings to knot them 🙂
@halokiwi I'm pretty sure I understand how to knot this. Since one of the left most and right most strings becomes a base string, would you recommend that one cut strings to make those strings the color of the feet and antennas? So one of the base strings would be yellow (for the feet) and the other side blue (for the antennas)?
