@yayalulu71 it actually isn't a mistake! the string count is the base strings (white strings that aren't used in the pattern) + one string (the string you weave with) hope that helps!
@TeerawkFan you can change the colors by either weaving them in or taping more and more colors at the top ( I hope that made sense ) or you can go to YouTube lol 😊
