@c0w456789 if you haven't made alphas before, I suggest you start with something that's not an actual pattern, so you get used to knotting straight across, back and forth. Tape down about six or more 10" base strings using ugly thread (so not to waste your favorite colors) and tape another really long thread next to the top, then just start making forward knots straight across each string. At the end, make backward knots starting on the same base string you ended with. Keep going back and forth until the string is used up, add another string by taping it down where you left off to continue knotting. The best way to understand is just start knotting, you'll figure it out as you go. Another good one is a rag rug which just uses mostly your shorter scrap threads in no particular order #36730 Or a vertical wave #15234 Video tutorials on both. And look through the photos for inspo 😄
@Kinseybluv there are many tutorials on YouTube how to make alpha patterns, they're all basically the same... just add a new string color according to the pattern. There's actually a couple video links on every pattern page located between the preview picture and the knot diagram called "How to make Alphas" by Masha Knotz 👍
@sodapop I had so much fun knotting this bracelet! Hence it took me less than a day to finish 😂 I definitely recommend this pattern! these patterns are so cute and plz continue to make them 🖤💙❤️
