@J3ssica I always use a binder clip on a clipboard, a book or something similar. Works just like a clipboard but better and this way you don't need to buy a new one.
@J3ssica if you are not happy with the width, maybe you could choose a pattern with less strings 😉
Clipboards sometimes don't hold the bracelet very securely and then the bracelet moves around a lot. I recommend using one with a very strong clip. Make sure that you clip the bracelet down close to where you are knotting and not all the way on the top.
Doing this pattern again n again, it's coming out thicker than I want. I made a loop start n the colors I chose r really pretty but I still want it to be a bit thinner. I use a clipboard. Is that the problem? I also am making sure to pull my first knot as tight as I can. #frustrated
@J3ssica for a round keyring like you used I recommend making a loop at the beginning of the bracelet and then a shaped start. This way the bracelet won't bend in the beginning. I also recommend making your knots tighter. Pull the first half of the knot tight before making the second half. The first half of the knot determines the placement of the knot and the second half secures the knot in place. By pulling the knots tighter, you can avoid gaps between the knots and the design will come out clearer.
