@inspiring it depends on how you do it 🙂 If you do a band of 13 knots width and put the circle in the middle, yes, it would work well If you do it as a patch according to the tutorial on how to make patches, also yes Some other methods, potentially no
@pablotimon The ones I got are relatively thin so I just used really sharp sewing scissors to cut them off. If they can't cut all the way through, then I would make a big dent in the wood with them (cutting as much as possible in to the wood) and then do my best to cleanly snap the excess wood off, if that makes sense.
